Two days Workshop on “Spice Processing and Entrepreneurship Development” funded by Department of Cooperatives, Government of Kerala was conducted on 30 Nov to 1 Dec 2022 at ICAR – IISR. Dr. C.K. Thankamani, Director (Acting) inaugurated and Ms. Sudha, Joint Registrar, Department of Cooperatives, GoK, felicitated the training programme on 30 Nov 2022. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Rajeev P, Principal Scientist, ICAR-IISR and about 39 participants from various districts of Kerala participated in the training programme. Technical sessions on post harvest handling of various spices including quality control and Entrepreneurship opportunities were handled by Dr. E. Jayashree, Dr. Anees, Dr. Lijo Thomas and Ms. Alfiya.
