Hands on Training on ‘Spice Processing’

One day hands on training progrmme on ‘Value addition of spices’ sponsored by District Industries Centre, Wayanad was organized at ICAR-IISR on 21.12.2023 for potential entrepreneurs of Wayanad District. Thirty four participants attended the programme. Technical sessions on value addition, quality management and hands on training on preparation of value added products from ginger were demonstrated at the Spice Processing Facility.  The programme was coordinated by Dr. E. Jayashree, Principal Scientist and Ms. Alfiya P.V. Scientist of the Division of Crop Production and Post Harvest Technology. Mr. Vishnu B., Technician was associated during the demonstration and use of various machinery for processing of the product.
